SamirEl Jattari

I’m Samir El Jattari, an Antwerp-based director with Moroccan and Flemish roots.

Filmmaking found me through parkour. While my friends focused on movement, I became fascinated by the camera: where to place it, when to cut and how framing could shape a moment. Filming parkour led naturally to music videos and later to commercial work.

I learned hands-on, working across shooting, editing, grading and directing. That experience still shapes how I work: I see direction, framing and rhythm as parts of the same process, often imagining the edit before we step onto set.

Today, I focus fully on directing, building visual worlds that elevate ideas and give them greater depth, while leaving room for real, unexpected moments.
